We will go to Putumayo, an extensive jungle area that includes the border between Colombia and Ecuador. The house where we are going to stay is at the banks of the Putumayo river on the ecuadorian side. We may also stay at the shamans house depending on the length of the stay.
The first point of arrival is Puerto Asís. We will get there by plane, since there are daily flights between Bogotá and Puerto Asís (1:20 hour flight). Then we will take a boat that will take us to the community. The boat ride is about 45 minutes and the community is 35 km from Puerto Asís.
The communities where we will be staying are Buena Vista Siona Reservation and San José de Wisuya.
